AGE

Members must be at least 13 years old or older to sign up for a membership. Ages 13-16 the member must be accompanied by parent/guardian at all times. At age 17 years to 18 years of age can join the club and use without supervision, only if the club has a signed consent form on the membership agreement from a parent/guardian.
*All Guests must be over the age of 18 years.

AMENITIES

We offer a variety of classes such as Insanity, Spin, Zumba, kickboxing, and more!

We have 17″ TVs on each cardio machine.

We don’t have a pool as Maxx focuses on areas most used in gyms in order to keep our monthly membership rates low.

Lockers are for daily use only. Members are not allowed to leave their belongings overnight.

Yes of course we have showers! You can get squeaky clean at the Maxx.

ANNUAL FEES(ENHANCEMENT FEE)

All of the memberships are individual and each one has a club enhancement fee.

You must complete a handwritten notice 30 Days prior to when the Enhancement Fee is charged. To know the exact date of our Enhancement Fee stop by the front desk and a staff member will be happy to look into your account for you.

Our Enhancement Fee is a once a year fee that covers all improvements in the clubs daily routines of cleaning, painting, and facility updates. The fee also helps guarantee that our membership rates never increase on you.

The $49 Enhancement Fee will be charged in either February or August depending on the month you signed up. For the exact date on this due stop by the front desk and a staff member will happy to take a look at your account for you.

BILLING

No. THERE WILL BE NO BILLING OF ANY MEMBERSHIP OR PERSONAL TRAINING while the clubs remain shut down. There is no need to worry about that as we are not billing during this time. We are making no adjustments to any contract while we remain closed. There is no need to contact us about your membership during this period.

We invite you to come in to take a look of all our membership offers and current specials to see what best suits you. Any member of our staff can answer any questions you may have about specifics.

The club always encourages members to use a checking account and routing number for your membership as it is more secure and the numbers are much more unlikely to change which can cause problems with your account.

Yes you can go on the website and there you can login to create an account and update your membership.

CANCELLATION

If you have fulfilled your membership agreement you are allowed to cancel at any time without any cancellation fees. You can cancel your membership in person at the club or by a handwritten letter sent by certified mail 30 Days prior to your billing date to avoid charges for the following month. We are sad to see you go, but wish you the best of luck on your fitness journey!

CANCELLATION FEES

Our buyout fee for our memberships is $58.

CARDIO THEATER

Our cardio theater is available for all of our members. Whenever you feel like doing some cardio, step in and enjoy the show!

Each day the movie of the day plays on rotation so just walk in at any time and enjoy the show while burning some calories!

CASH

Maxx Fitness memberships must be set up to a bank account. If you would like to 
pay with cash or with any other payment option, we do have other payment options for our Enhancement Fee as well as paying cash for an annual membership. Please stop by the front desk for further details.

CLASS SCHEDULE

You can find descriptions of any of our classes on our website but remember the best way of knowing exactly what you’re getting yourself into is by actually trying the class out for yourself. What do you have to lose?

Please download the Maxx Fitness Clubzz App from the Apple Store or Google Play depending on your mobile phone and you can see the class schedules at any time and make reservations.

The 24 Hour Policy helps the club because members would book then not show up, keeping other members from being able to attend. If you meet with the manager he can show you how to reserve a class from your smart phone. Thank you, and we hope to see you soon!

Team Training is our name for small group thirty-minute functional training classes.

Small group training instructors are certified in personal training and functional training programming. Workouts achieve the following benefits: 1. Programming 2. Coaching 3. Community 4. Commitment.
These sessions make it affordable to have a personal trainer and create a supportive environment. Please ask for the Fitness Director for more information and the schedule.

CONTESTS

Members get points over a period of 8 weeks by tracking their workouts, what they do
while in the club, and keeping a food journal. Essentially, everyone wins if they exercise 3+ times each week, combine workouts of weight training and cardio, and hopefully keep a food journal. There are prizes for everyone involved if they make it through the 8 weeks with enough points, and there is also a raffle of larger prizes. Our goal is to promote a healthy weight loss challenge, and motivate and support our members! The staff at the front desk will be happy to help you get started. Thank you!

We encourage you to win prizes like Maxx Tee Shirts, Water Bottles, Gym Bags and More! Points are given for doing Cardio, Weight Training, Taking Classes, Workout Consistency, Losing Bodyfat and Inches or Keeping a Food Journal.

It’s not hard to win prizes as long as they make it to the club 3-4 times a week!

DRESS CODE

In order to workout, of course workout attire is required, which means no work boots, jeans, etc. are allowed at the gym.

EQUIPMENT

Some of our equipment includes the Synergy 360X, which is a functional trainer, used with our Team Training classes and you can use it as long as there isn’t a class being held. Other than that the only machines that are strictly used with an instructor are the group cycling classes.

At Maxx we will teach you how to use any of the machines you have questions using although we also provide one on one personal training sessions and Team Training for ongoing results.

We understand that you may be wondering why we require an appointment for an equipment information session. Here at the Maxx we like to set time apart specifically for you, addressing any questions or concerns you may have on any equipment we supply. Stop by the front desk and a staff member will be happy to book you an appointment with one of our Fitness Managers.

FREE TRIAL/DAY PASSES

Yes your first visit is on us! Try us on for size, we guarantee that you will want to join ASAP!

Guests must bring a photo I.D. and be over the age of 18.

FREEZE MEMBERSHIPS

We do not have the option to freeze your membership at Maxx. If you are unable to visit Maxx for a period of time, the easiest thing might be to cancel and re-join when you come back.

GIFTING A MEMBERSHIP/GIFT CARDS

KIDZ CLUB

Our age requirement for a child to attend out Kidz Club is 6 months-12 years old.

Our Kidz Club hours are: Monday to Saturday 9AM-12PM & Monday to Thursday 5PM- 8PM.

LOST & FOUND

If you ever forget anything in the gym please return to the club immediately. Our staff will be happy to look for your lost item for you but we need you to come into the club immediately to retrieve your item as we have no place to lock it up for you.

MUSIC

We use a streaming music service in each facility and only have one station per location, which plays a variety of popular music.

PERSONAL TRAINING

We have a variety of options when it comes to personal training stop by the front desk and one of our personal trainers will be happy to go over these programs with you.

TANNING

We sell peepers’ throwaway goggles that are meant for one time use. We also sell goggles by the set as well. For pricing info please stop by the front desk.

Under state law, we require all members who use tanning to wear eye protection goggles.

Of course we can! Ask a staff member at the front desk and they’d be happy to walk you through our tanning procedures.

TRANSFER MEMBERSHIPS

Whether you’re moving, are away at school, or just want a location closer to work, sometimes a membership club transfer has to happen. Platinum members can use any Maxx Fitness location up to TEN VISITS each month after TEN VISITS you may be required to transfer your membership. USE OF OTHER LOCATIONS

Great question! If you have our Platinum membership, you can use any of our Maxx Fitness locations. If not, then unfortunately, you can only use your home gym location. Have you ever thought about upgrading?
